How to organize your study desk
A tidy desk makes studying easier. Five steps to set one up, using pieces you can find in any Maliks branch.

A desk you actually enjoy sitting at makes studying and working easier. Here's how our team at Maliks sets one up, using pieces you can find in any branch.
1. Start with the surface
Clear everything off, then put back only what you use daily. A desk pad gives you a defined working area and protects the surface from pen marks and scratches.
2. Sort your stationery by how often you use it
Daily pens and highlighters belong in a cup within arm's reach. Spare markers, glue and staplers can live in a drawer organizer. Anything you touch once a month should be off the desk entirely.
3. Give paper a home
Use a document tray for anything in progress, and box files or binders for what's finished. Label them; it takes a minute and saves hours later.
4. Tame the cables
Clips along the back edge of the desk keep chargers from sliding off, and a small power strip means one cable to the wall instead of four.
5. Add one thing you like
A lamp, a plant, a photo frame. A desk you like looking at is a desk you'll keep tidy.
